How to permanently delete your ReelCrew account and data.

How to Request Deletion

In the app (fastest):

1. Open ReelCrew and sign in
2. Go to Settings
3. Tap Delete Account and confirm

Your account is deleted immediately — there is no waiting period.

Can't access the app? Email reelcrewmovieapp@gmail.com from the email address on your account and request deletion. We'll process it manually.

What Gets Deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

• Your profile (display name, username, avatar)
• All movies/shows you've logged, along with your ratings and reviews
• Your personal watchlist ("My Watchlist") and custom lists
• Your comments on crew activity
• Your membership in any Crews you've joined

If you own a Crew, deleting your account deletes that Crew entirely, including its shared watchlist and other members' comments within it, and removes it for every member. Ownership of a Crew cannot currently be transferred to another member before deletion.

What's Retained

Nothing is retained after deletion — there is no retention period or backup copy kept by ReelCrew once deletion completes. Movie and TV metadata itself (posters, titles, etc., sourced from TMDb) is not personal data and is unaffected, since it isn't tied to your account after your data is removed.
