ReelCrew Terms of Service

Effective date: August 1, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the ReelCrew mobile application and related services (the “App”), operated by Tom Tandarich (“ReelCrew,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at reelcrewmovieapp@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized use. You may delete your account at any time from within the App (Settings → Delete account).

3. The Service

ReelCrew lets you track movies and TV, rate and review them, build watchlists and lists, and share activity with private groups (“crews”). Features may change over time. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time.

4. User Content

• Ownership. You retain ownership of the content you create (ratings, reviews, reactions, comments, lists, and profile information) (“User Content”).
• License to us. You grant ReelCrew a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and share your User Content solely to operate and provide the App — including displaying it to members of the crews you join.
• Responsibility. You are responsible for your User Content and represent that you have the rights to post it and that it does not violate these Terms or any law.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• post content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or infringing;
• impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation;
• attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to access;
• interfere with, disrupt, or overload the App or its infrastructure;
• use the App to manipulate scores/leaderboards through fake or automated accounts; or
• scrape, reverse-engineer, or misuse the App or its data except as permitted by law.

We may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Crews and Interactions with Others

Crews are private, invite-based groups. Content you share in a crew is visible to its members. We are not responsible for the conduct of other users or for content they post. Please be respectful, and report abuse to reelcrewmovieapp@gmail.com.

7. Third-Party Content and Services

Movie and TV information — including posters, synopses, cast, and streaming availability — is provided by The Movie Database (TMDb) and other sources, and is subject to their terms. We do not guarantee its accuracy or availability.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, branding, and software (excluding User Content and third-party content), is owned by ReelCrew and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App for its intended purpose. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the App. Upon termination, your right to use the App ends; sections that by their nature should survive (e.g., ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.

10. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY CONTENT IS ACCURATE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REELCREW AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED USD $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS (WHICHEVER IS GREATER — THE APP IS CURRENTLY FREE).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ReelCrew and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the App, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Apple App Store

If you download the App from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and ReelCrew only, not Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the App. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You also agree to comply with Apple’s applicable App Store Terms of Service and the standard Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), except where these Terms are more restrictive.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Effective date” and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
